  • LAST DAY FUN!

Fri 17 Dec 2021 Mrs Oldfield

The children looked great in their Christmas jumpers today and after some technical 'glitches', we all enjoyed a lovely festive sharing assembly to end the term with each class either singing or performing a poem.  During the class parties in the afternoon, the children were surprised by a visit from a very special VIP - dressed in red with a big white beard... 'HO, HO, HO!'  Merry Christmas Everyone!

  • KEY STAGE ONE PERFORMANCE

    Mon 13 Dec 2021

The children in Foxes and Otters gave a wonderful performance of 'Children of the World' this afternoon.

Lovely costumes, beautiful singing and some amazing dance moves!

  • BIKEABILITY

Fri 10 Dec 2021 Mrs Oldfield

Year 6 pupils have taken part in Bikeability over the last couple of weeks and today they were presented with their certificates and a badge.  We are so proud of them - not only have they achieved level 2 but they were also complimented on their excellent behaviour.  Well done Year 6, you are a credit to the school!

  • MINI MARATHON

Mon 06 Dec 2021 Miss Crush

A really big well done to all of the children who took part in the Virgin Money Mini Marathon.  We ran, walked or jogged 2.6 miles together around the school field.  It was great to discuss with the children the benefits of keeping active for both their physical and mental health.  Everyone demonstrated many of the ACE particles, particularly those of perseverance and working together as they cheered and supported their friends, encouraging them to keep on going.

  • THE 999 CENOTAPH

Fri 03 Dec 2021 Mrs Oldfield

Well done to all the pupils today for coming to school wearing clothes in the colours of the emergency services and raising £92 for the campaign #UniteTheUniforms for the @999Cenotaph.  It feels really good to know that our school has participated and that the children may one day see the monument erected to honour the amazing people who work so hard to take care of us and keep us all safe.

  • THE SNOW QUEEN

Thu 02 Dec 2021 Mrs Oldfield

The whole school enjoyed a fantastic production of 'The Snow Queen' on Monday afternoon.  It was a real treat to be able to see a live performance - at last!  The children were amazed that there were only 3 actors playing all the roles and that they could sing, dance and play musical instruments as well as act.
