• FOREST SCHOOLS

  Though the weather may be a little chilly and the trees a little bare, it hasn't stopped the children enjoying the forest school sessions this term.  They have made lollipops to help feed our birds, shelters to stay out of the wind and used a bow saw safely to cut logs ready for our fire.  It has been wonderful to hear children speak proudly about their achievements and discuss with friends how they have overcome challenges.

• NEW YEAR - NEW TERM!

  What a great start to the new term!  A big Somersham welcome to two new children - Eddie and Evelyn - who have joined Otters class.  Adders shared their rocket making experiences during sharing assembly this morning and what a fantastic job they have done.  Jack and Tyler said, 'This is a Saturn 5 rocket. We used junk to create the body and made it strong using papier-mache.  We joined the Eagle to Columbia using magnets.  We are really proud of the detail.  We made the painting neat by using masking tape to make it straight.' They all look great!
