Somersham is a Local Authority maintained school, so our admissions are administrated by the Local Authority.

Every school has a Published Admissions Number or PAN for short. The PAN for Somersham is currently 15 children per year group.

If our school has places available in a year group, then we can accept in-year admissions of pupils from other schools. However, we always encourage this to happen at the end of a half-term and that parents have discussed this with their child's current Headteacher before finally deciding to apply.

For parents of children who would like their child to start school in Reception next year, you have to apply before 15th January 2024. Any applications after this date are considered as 'late' applications, which are the lowest priority in the selection criteria.

We will be holding School Tours for prospective parents of Early Years children (September 2024) on Wednesday 1st and 8th November 2023. If you would like to attend one of these, please click on the button below to book your place.
