The Suffolk School Show Gardening Competition
This term our gardening club have been working really hard designing and producing an 'Olympic garden' which will be entered into a competition run by the Suffolk Agricultural Association. The theme of the competition is the Paris Olympics 2024. The children’s challenge has been to design and then plant up a 360-degree raised garden, which will be judged at the Suffolk Show on Wednesday next week. The children came up with the initial design, worked on the hard landscaping and planted flowers and vegetables that were chosen to replicate the Olympic ring colours. At the show, some members of the gardening club will represent the school during the judging. This will also involve answering any questions the judges have about the garden. We wish our gardeing club all the best and can't wait to hear all about the day!
