New scam detection tool

Get Safe Online has launched a new scam detection tool on their website. 

If you are suspicious of a text, email or message and you want to check if it is legit or not before responding, you can upload it to Ask Silver on the Get Safe Online website and whereupon it will return an indication of whether the communication is safe or a ‘red flag’ for fraud.

Farmer John’s Pumpkin Patch & Maize Maze, based in Capel St Mary.

Ipswich Town Foundation will be hosting a football camp at Claydon Primary School during the October half term. The camp will take place on 30th October running from 9:00 – 14:00 and is available to all children in school years 1-6. The camp is available to children of all footballing ability with each day consisting of fun games/activities followed by a tournament in the afternoon.

October half term at Gainsborough's House 

Gainsborough's House will be running a special version of our regular Tom's Tuesday holiday club for 3-12 year olds this October half term. 

This October, Tom's Tuesday will be part of our Big Draw Festival, where children and young people will create collaborative drawings, explore movement and filmmaking with choreographer and filmmaker Tom Hobden and sound/ music making with Sudbury based music enterprise, CLIP

The work produced during the Tom's Tuesday session will be brought together with work from other workshops during the week for a spectacular showcase on Saturday 1st November, 6-8pm, where you can view the artwork projected onto the back of Gainsborough's House and enjoy Autumnal food and drink.

 

Key information: 

  • Date: 28th October, 10am-12pm 

  • Location: Gainsborough's House, Sudbury

  • Cost: £5 per child.
