What a wonderful morning with the whole school finally able to mix together in house teams and enjoy the carousel of different activities.

Nicole (Year 6) explains what was on offer - 'In Key stage One we had a scavenger hunt to find words to make a book title.  The words were hidden around the playground.  I really enjoyed this activity.  Then we were given a task to merge 2 different book characters - I merged the Gingerbread Man and the Three Little Pigs.  In Key Stage Two we watched a couple of minutes of The Cat in the Hat and we had to make up a rhyming poem like it.  We also read picture books to the younger children and had a go at making a booklet.'

All of the costumes were amazing and congratulations go to the prize winners chosen by the School Council - Auden (the lion), Evelyn (Little Red Riding Hood), Alice (Hedwig the owl) and Isobel (Moaning Myrtle).
