Foxes have thoroughly enjoyed the start of our topic and the continuing work on Superheroes! After reading and enjoying the language in Supertato they created their very own Super vegetable. Aren't they incredible?! The children worked independently showing their creative sides as well as demonstrating how important it is to persevere. when things get tricky. 

Super writing followed from role playing heroes and villains and all the class wrote words and sentences from the voice of Supertato. Writing tricky words, using sentences and sounding out new and unknown words can be tough but Foxes rose to the challenge. Well done! 

To be a super mathematician you need to know your doubles and this is what we have been working on this week. Using cubes, ladybird spots and the interactive white board has helped us think about the ways we can create doubles and the language we use when discussing them. As you can see it has been a busy week filled with action and adventure and lots of ACE behaviour. All children in Foxes ended their week on the shooting star and it was very well deserved. We look forward to a super week next week.
