  • Tree Planting- Suffolk Enviromental Project

Fri 10 Feb 2023 Mrs Chinnery

On Thursday, members of our school council helped to plant five trees on the school field. They all did an amazing job demonstrating lots of their ACE particles. In particular, lots of 'Perseverance' was shown in digging holes as well as 'Responsibility and Respect' whilst using tools. There was a lot of laughing and learning going too showing our ACE particle 'Live, Learn, Laugh'. Today we talked in assembly about our new additions and how we will protect and care for them. Many of the children were very knowledgeable about the benefits of planting trees for the environment and for wildlife/animal  habitats. We pondered on how many years it would be until they are mature and bear fruit. We also thought about who in the future might see them at school and enjoy them.
